Michael's Musings

A preview of the Builda the Re-Bicycler iPad app!

I actually got a few nuggets of good news today, but one thing at a time.

Builda the Re-Bicycler for the iPad will be going on sale on Friday, April 20th! It will retail for $1.99, and it has all sorts of fun features. Here is the app trailer/demo, featuring some of the original in-app music by Don Cameron.

By the way, April 20th is also my birthday. So if you want to give this writer a fine gift, help me and Midlandia Press rocket this app up to #1 among book apps on its release date.

    Hi Michael,
I love all of your books and you might have saw me at West Hempfield Elementary School on Aprl 13, 2012. My question was “What one of your books did you never want to end but you got tired, hungary, etc.? I got the book Latasha and the little red tornado that you autographed for me. Thank you. I know you probably don’t have a lot of time since you’re an author, but please, please, please write back to me. Sincerely, your friend, Jamie

P.S. I am definitely going to get Postcards from Pismo and I wish you a very happy, happy birthday on April 20th.

    • Hi Jamie,
Thanks for writing! I had a great time visiting your school today. To answer your question: I’ve had a lot of books that I loved so much that I didn’t want them to end. I read a book not long ago called Bud, Not Buddy, by Christopher Paul Curtis. It was so terrific that I wanted to read more about the characters and find out what happened next in their lives. Luckily for me, that author just wrote another book that has some of the same characters, called The Mighty Miss Malone. I’m very excited to read it!

I hope you love Latasha and the Little Red Tornado and Postcards from Pismo, and thank you for the birthday wishes!

      Your pal,
      – Michael
